Papillon Fall / Winter 2019 Collection is telling a story of mine or a story of many Fashion Designers. “A caterpillar does not climb in one end of its cocoon and come out the other end second later as a beautiful butterfly. It takes time, and there is a lot going on inside that cocoon that is hidden out of sight.” Fashion Designers have been non-stop working hard before making their debut; before audience sees those beautiful designs showcasing on a runway. I personally have been non-stop working hard for 9 year before presenting my first collection (Including 4 years Bachelor of Fine Arts and 3 years Master of Fine Arts in Fashion - Apparel Design and Textile Design).

“Papillon” is the French term for butterfly, a triumph, a celebration after breaking free of the cocoon. Papillon also can be seen as a symbol of a new beginning. It represents the transformation of my design philosophy from conceptual fashion to commercial fashion. It also conveys that the collection has been developed to a mix of “reversible” and “layering” butterflies’ details. There are no chains on the Papillon, as there are no restrictions on creativity - they go where ever they want and do whatever they choose.
